『Clean Development Mechanism in Transportation Sector』

This is CDM project which will reduce CO2 by producing Bio-diesel Fuel blended 20 % of Palm Methyl Ester to diesel and supplying to public transport in Thailand.

■Feasibility Study of CDM project by introducing Bus Rapid Transit
In this project, the method to estimate reduction of CO2 by introducing BRT was developed and viability of the project was examined.

■Feasibility study of CDM project by applying eco-driving and Idling Stop
In this project, fuel consumption was recorded with different speed on the highway in Bangkok. The possibility to reduce CO2 emission by installing fuel consumption meter or idling stop equipment for commercial vehicle was estimated. This project was funded by HIDO and Nippon Koei Co.Ltd.

『Road Traffic Safety at Developing Countries』

■Study on alternative approch to reduce road traffic accident in Thailand(IATSS PROJECT H749, H857)
To arise an awareness on road traffic safety at community in Thailand, the project team trid to introduce the workshops to develop "Hiyari" Map or Potential Black Spots Map. This project has been one part of ASEAN-Japan Road Transport Safety Project which has been promoted by Policy Bureau of MLIT.

『Introduction of Trasit Mall to Kokusai St. in Naha City』

■Introduction of Transit Mall to Kokusai St. in Naha City
This is the project to turn Kokusai St. with 1 Mail to Transit Mall. From 2002, 5 trials have been made. Prof. Fukuda has supported this project as the deputy secretary general of the promotion committee. From April/2007, Kokusai St. becomes Transit Mall every Sunday.
