Workshop on evaluation and training for guideline of co-benefit measurement in transport sector which was developed by Nihon university as research project of Institute of Global Environmental Strategies (IGES) last year (Review by professionals was introduced at ISAP2010 in Yokohama, July/2010 ) was organized at the meeting room of the Office of Transportation Planning and Policy, the Ministry of Transport, Thailand by IGES and ATRANS.
After an introduction of co-benefit concept by Dr. Eric Zusman and Dr. Jane Romero of IGES, Dr. Tuenjai Fukuda introduce outline of Guideline. Following this, Prof. Hisayoshi Morisugi and Prof. Fukuda explained measurement theory and techniques of co-benefits in the Guideline. In afternoon, Dr. Sittha, Dr. Thaned, Dr. Varameth, et al. introduced the case studies. Also, Mr. Yoshihiko Hashino of PTV Japan introduced the case study of travel demand analysis. On second day, we had discussion and went to observed BRT.
